Instructions

NOTE:  All of the printable items in my shop can be printed at home, or you can take the file(s) to a local printing company to be printed.  Below are details on what paper to use, how to print and assemble the items, etc.  These are meant to help customers get ready for their parties, but you do not have to follow these guidelines.  If you have a better way to do some of these things, I encourage you to use your creativity and I always love hearing stories from clients about the ideas they had and what they used the various items for at their parties.

Invitations and/or Holiday Card

Suggested Paper for Printing:  Cardstock or Photo Paper

Directions and Tips for Printing:   Invitations can be printed just like a photo at your local photo developer (ex:  Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Snapfish), or you can use stores like Staples or Kinko’s to print on Cardstock.  Check with the store you plan to print with prior to ordering the cards, because some stores don’t print odd sizes.  For example, 5×5 cards are harder to find printers for because this isn’t a standard photo size.

Banners

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock

Directions and Tips for Printing:  Print the files on cardstock, cut out each tile or pendant for the banner, punch 2 holes in the top of each tile, and use a decorative/matching ribbon to string through each tile to make the perfect banner for the party.

Cupcake Toppers

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock

Directions and Tips for Printing:   Print the file on white cardstock.  Using a 2” circle or scalloped circle punch, cut out each of the cupcake toppers.  Attach each circle to a white popsicle stick (found in the cake decoration section at any craft store) using tape or glue.  The stick them in the cupcakes!

Cupcake Wrappers

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock

Directions and Tips for Printing:  Print the file on white cardstock, cut out each cupcake wrapper, wrap it around the bottom of the cupcake and secure it with a piece of tape to keep it in place.

Water Bottle Labels

Suggested Paper for Printing:  Full Sheet (8.5” x 11”) labels

Directions and Tips for Printing:

Print the file on full sheet labels, cut out each label and attach them to the water bottles for the party.  I recommend removing the original water bottle labels from the bottles before attaching your party labels.  (NOTE:  The water bottle labels are NOT designed to fit a particular label template, so please use full sheet labels.)

Juice Box Labels

Suggested Paper for Printing:  Full Sheet (8.5” x 11”) labels

Directions and Tips for Printing:   Print the file on full sheet labels, cut out each label and attach them to the juice boxes for the party.  I recommend removing the straws from the juice boxes prior to adding the labels.

Hershey Kiss Candy Stickers

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock or Full Sheet (8.5” x 11”) labels

Directions and Tips for Printing:  If you prefer stickers, then I recommend using full sheet labels.  If you don’t have full sheet labels, then cardstock paper works great too, and you just attach them with double-sided tape.  Either paper you choose, once you’ve printed out the labels, you’ll need to cut them out using a 3/4″ circle punch so they will fit perfectly on the bottom of the candy.  Once you have them cut out, just attach them to the bottom of the candy, and everyone at your party is sure to love these!

(NOTE: The candy stickers in this shop are not designed to fit any particular circle sticker provided by Avery or other label companies. Avery does not provide a template for the circle stickers; therefore, these labels should be printed on full sheet labels or cardstock. The 3/4″ circle punch will make cutting the labels out very easy, so they fit perfectly on your candy.)

Mini Candy Bar Labels

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock or Regular White paper

Directions and Tips for Printing:  My personal preference is printing the mini candy bar wrappers on regular white paper (because I’ve found that it’s easier to attach regular paper around the little candy bars), but cardstock works great too.  Once you print the file, cut out the individual labels, wrap them around each mini candy bar, and use a small piece of tape on the back to keep it in place.

Candy Bag Labels

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock

Directions and Tips for Printing:  Print the file on cardstock, cut out each label, fold the label in half and attach it to a clear bag filled with your favorite goodies.  The candy bag labels in my shop fit either 3” x 4” or 4” x 6” clear bags (which can be found in the cake decorating section at your local craft store or online).  Refer to the listing for the label sizes.

Party Favor Circles

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock

Directions and Tips for Printing:  Print the file on white cardstock.  Using a 2” circle or scalloped circle punch, cut out each of the cupcake toppers…or you can cut them out as squares if you prefer.  Punch a small hole in the top of each label and attach each label to the party favors or favor bags using matching ribbon.

Various Party Signs (ex: “Gifts”, welcome signs, “Drinks”, “Happy Birthday”, etc)

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock or Photo paper

Directions and Tips for Printing:  The party signs are various sizes.  If they are in a standard photo size, you can print the file as a photo.  Or you can print the signs on cardstock.  Use the labels however you wish at your party.

Candy Jar signs

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock

Directions and Tips for Printing:  Print the file(s) on cardstock, cut them out and attach them to the candy jar(s).  I personally like putting a decorative ribbon around the candy jar first, then attaching the label on top of the ribbon with tape.

Placeholders or Food Tents

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock

Directions and Tips for Printing:  Print the file(s) on cardstock, cut out each food tent, fold the label in half, add the name of the food(s).  Then add them to the food table at the party!

Bubbles Labels

Suggested Paper for Printing:  Full Sheet (8.5” x 11”) labels

Directions and Tips for Printing:  Print the file on full sheet labels and cut out each label.  Remove the original bubbles label that came on the bottle, then attach the label to the bottle.

Thank You Note Cards

Suggested Paper for Printing:  White Cardstock

Directions and Tips for Printing: Print the file on cardstock and cut out each card.
